What do you do to calm yourself?
… I usually go for a walk, or do some form exercise! That physical exhilaration drives away unwanted blah emotions, organizes my thoughts but if nothing works, I dial MJ….
The storm shall pass, keep calm – is very easy to say. I’d say make some noise if that helps to calm you down. But don’t rattle yourself such that you fall ill, negative and hope-less in the mind and heart.
It could be that we were 8-9 months part of their bodies that mothers know their children this well. That would be romanticising motherhood two notches higher than fatherhood 😊😊 (patriarchy bobbing its head up) but calming influences come up from different sources, parents, siblings, friends, strangers – they reflect our mind thoughts (it’s kind of eerie) but bring us that needed ray of light to calm us down.
