#mondaydrinks

Rose milk, on a hot summer evening, a sip of this chilled milk makes quite a difference from the heat. Plus I’m trying out apps to make texts on my pictures. What editing apps do you use to write texts on pictures..?

PS. I didn’t make the drink. My aunt did. I just clicked and tasted.

  1. That looks delish and are those Tulsi seeds? They look like it. Good addition to this soothing drink! I use an app by the name of PicsArt on my pictures to do all kinds of editing on my pics, even for text. Though for a free version, it doesn’t have many great choices but it works just fine for me. It’s a phone based app. Give it a try

    1. I use PicsArt too. I find it quite useful. 🙂 I don’t know what it called in English – call it sabja seeds. Are they tulsi seeds? I love to see them popping up on the surface in a drink at home and outside. Have a great week, Pradita 🙂

          1. Lo1! That can happen in India for sure. When I first came to Maharashtra, I didn’t know what the Marathi word for cotton is. I had gone to a very remote and backward region for a camp, and I wanted cotton. And no one could understand what I wanted. I went from saying cotton, to ‘rui’ to kapas (thinking that Marathi may have similarities to the pure Hindi word for cotton)… Only then did someone understand that I needed Kapus XD

            1. Hahaha! I know. I wanted to buy mustard seeds one day, but as I entered the shop had forgotten the Hindi or even Marathi word for mustard seeds. Imagine my plight. I went around saying chotte chotte kalle gol gol.. Woh Jo tadke mein dalthe hai 😂😂😂😂 the kiranashopwala and I had a fun time, but he soon understood I wanted rai.. So much for the little mustard seeds 😎😎

    1. Hehehe! You named it as rose milk day Kamal 😂 chalo, then let it be rose milk day. What do we do on this day? Of course, make/buy at least a glass of rose milk and quench our thirst. Happy rose milk day to you too, Kamal

  2. My husband always used to talk about Rosemilk on Mettapalayam station so I was always intrigued by this drink.
I use Ripl or Snapseed to write on my photos. Even the iPhone software works in a limited way

    1. I did download Ripl, and found it a cumbersome. Had to navigate through ads in between every edit.et me try again. Snapseed i think is available for android as well. let me see how that works out
